Measured Building Surveys

Sitech Surveying Services specialise in measured building surveys. Employing the latest reflectorless technology, highly accurate building surveys can be undertaken by only a single surveyor. This produces a significant reduction in costs with an increase in accuracy. Physical access of points is no longer a problem. If we can see it, we can survey it.

Floor Plans

Every building, whether a small cottage or an entire college is initially, "footprinted" using Total Stations at fixed internal and external control points. This footprint is then developed into final floor plans using Leica hand laser measuring equipment. Our basic standard includes all of the following;

* Solid and partition walls
* Doors and openings
* Windows with sill and head heights
* Stairs
* Floor levels
* Ceiling and beam heights
* Room description and floor area
* Drainage and sanitary fittings

Each floor is referenced to the one above enabling total control of the measured environment. If required, full internal services information can than be added to the survey using British Standard symbol libraries.

Elevations & Cross Sections

Quickly and easily produced using the latest reflectorless measurements techniques, elevations can be produced with a greater accuracy than ever before possible. Add cross sectional data to floor plans and elevations and you have complete digital record of any building.
